#GMOD VR MODE MODS#
That is unless there's compatibility with mods or it works as well as any native VR game, like with Fishbiter's GZDoom Port. Like the difference between doing Yooka-laylee, the idea, and the difference between doing A Hat in Time, the spirit.Ī fantastic example: Your game Climbey is not Kreedz Climbing, it has an original feel of uniqueness to it that makes it stand out from kreedz to be it's own unique game, but it certainly captures the spirit of Kreedz Climbing, and I prefer that over a straight port of Kreedz Climbing, know what I mean? (not like you could bunnyhop in VR anyway.) I may try to run that later assuming I can get it up and working again (been having issues with Dolphin VR starting lately) but a lot of the time, not always, I don't just want straight ports of older games but rather stuff reminiscent of it updated with modern visuals that do original things and capture the spirit, not the surface synopsis. When I say Zelda OOT in VR, I mean like, first person, not 20fps, thick atmosphere, grand sense of adventure, god tier soundtrack. Last time I played (2 years ago) there was still lots of different servers available. But you can still go online and play some hide n seek or race or whatever server is still running on it. If you don't feel to create anything, this game won't be fun for you. There was some ingame programing to do to reach to automate whatever you wanted to automate. Now it kinda looks old but the physic engine is still nice to play with.

There's a space mod that allow to create a spaceship and do random stuff in space and on several planets.

#GMOD VR MODE FULL#
I remember people at the time doing full automated mecha, cars and even space rockets. Go in the workshop to see what you can do with it.

Specially with the mods done by the community. Now it gets really old but there is still stuff to do. Only seeing barrels exploding "realisticaly" and ragdolls made our happiness at the time we saw HL2's engine first trailer. It was the first software allowing to mess with the source physic engine easily at the time.
